What better way to celebrate postponing a big wedding than to elope in one of the most beautifully pieces of architecture in Trinidad ?! Charlotte and Shane picked me up- non nonchalant as ever, we’re just gonna get married. Her bouquet was made from flowers and ferns from her aunt’s garden, outfit found a few days before.

Super casual.

Charl’s parents and Shane’s uncle met us at the Red House for their civil ceremony on that Friday Morning.

It was short and sweet- just what they wanted, not to distract from their big day in the future but of course special in its own way.

We walked around town, took some photos and they went to lunch just the two of them afterward. I couldn’t have thought of a better Friday to spend with my longtime friend and new hubby! Can’t wait to celebrate with you guys next year.
