For over a decade, I’ve been documenting weddings, destination elopements, and moments of lovers, families, and new life.

Born the day after Halloween and named after one of my favourite witches (Samantha from Bewitched, duh), it only makes sense that I’ve been obsessed with all things spooky since day one. I'm a self proclaimed crazy cat lady, having rescued more than I can count. My pup Lula and I are wildly outnumbered and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

I'm an island girl to the bone, born and raised in Trinidad. My culture is deeply rooted in my soul, the melting pot of people, that rich tapestry of storytelling shaped exactly how I see the world.

I’ve always been an old soul, drawn to vintage treasures, pieces of someone else’s story, carrying legacies I hope to pass down to generations to come, much like the photographs that I take.

MY INSPIRATIONS

I find inspiration just about anywhere. As a child, I had the biggest imagination, always writing short stories and dreaming up the wildest scenes. Today, music and movies deeply fuel my creativity. I’m that girl who is always in the middle of the dance floor when no one else is, a 90s baby who should have definitely been born in the disco era!

I am heavily inspired by my favourite films that touch my soul through their visuals and romance. La La Land, Moulin Rouge, Eat Pray Love, Call Me By Your Name, anything Disney Princess and of course, The Notebook.

I LOVE to people watch! Airport pickups and tearful goodbyes are some of my absolute favourite moments to witness. I love watching loved ones embrace and creating stories in my head, wondering if it's a first drop off for a long-distance couple, or sisters reuniting after 30 years apart. To me, there is nothing more moving than witnessing real, raw human connection.

Ultimately, your stories are my biggest inspiration. Each wedding I capture, each new life brought into this crazy world, every hand held, and every tear shed breathes new life into my work. I want to tell your unique story through nostalgic imagery that lasts a lifetime.

THE STORY BEHIND MY ART

As a child, I would lose myself in my grandparents’ albums, turning pages of faded prints and memorising the faces of people I’d never even met. Those photographs told stories, and that deep sense of nostalgia has never left me. Today, I am driven by a singular mission, to capture your story so that one day, another little girl can sit in her grandparents' home, feeling the exact same wonder and love that inspired me.

That feeling guides every single frame I take. My goal is to create honest, nostalgic images that truly reflect the life you’ve lived, filled with a depth of love that will be cherished for generations to come.

SONOMA, CALIFORNIA

Alexx and I met when we were in our early 20s on a volunteer program in Thailand. We visited back and forth from Trinidad to New York and when she got engaged she asked me to come to Sonoma to shoot her and Stu's wedding day. It was the most beautiful reunion and privilege to have been a part of their day!

MANGO BAY, BARBADOS

After two years of connecting with Sasha and Sam, it felt less like photographing clients and more like celebrating with lifelong friends. Their day was filled with beautiful, sentimental moments between their families and friends. Handwritten letters to their guests, private vows on the terrace, dancing the night away and ending in the pool to cool off. The ultimate Destination Wedding vibe!

GERS, FRANCE

This was the first year I truly became a "Barbados Wedding Photographer", the irony that two Bajans, Olivia and Josh asked me to photograph their wedding in France made it even sweeter. I ended up staying to party with everyone well after 2 am, now I've shot a few of their guests weddings! Networking right?

blanchisseuse, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

Jess and Josh flew back to Trinidad all the way from Australia to get married. This day was so special and sentimental in so many ways, they were married at Josh's family's beach house, their best friend officiated their vows and they danced to my very own favourite song, Harvest Moon by Neil Young.

COBBLERS COVE, BARBADOS

Emma and Tom's wedding day was one of the hottest, clearest day in Barbados I'd seen in forever, but just after dinner a massive cloud covered the stars and burst all over their beautiful dinner set up. After a while, everyone got in on the action and danced the night away in the rain!

SUGAR BEACH, ST. LUCIA

This was my first trip to St.Lucia, I was absolutely blown away and speechless when I first saw the Pitons. Tonya and Shravan were married in between them on the dock at the stunning Sugar Beach resort (one of the dreamiest places I've ever been to). This was also one of the first trips my partner and I ever took together!

the aquarium, grenada

I grew up going to Grenada for many years of my childhood, never did I think I'd be shooting a wedding here. My dreams were absolutely fulfilled when Julia stepped in front of my camera and casually dropped that was a model. The whole day felt energized, full of love and beauty all around!
