Walking into Mango Bay House in Barbados, I couldn’t help but feel the excitement of the day ahead. After two years of connecting with Sasha and Sam, it felt less like photographing clients and more like celebrating with lifelong friends.
In the bridal suite, Sasha was the picture of calm. Her sister stood by her side, carefully painting her face like it was a Renaissance painting. At the end of the aisle, Sam’s expression said it all as he saw the love of his life, the same girl he fell for at 17 years old walking toward him. How lucky they are to have found and kept each other all these years.
One of the most touching moments came after the ceremony, when Sasha and Sam surprised their guests with handwritten poems. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. After sharing private vows with one another, we headed to Fairmont Beach where Sasha’s wedding vision unfolded flawlessly. Every detail was breathtaking, perfectly matched with the golden glow of the setting sun.
As the evening continued, sunset speeches gave way to limbo dancing under the moonlight—fittingly, the same moon that shone during their lovers’ session. It was the perfect ending to a wedding day overflowing with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
