Reminiscing on this wedding takes me back to so many memories. It all started in Barbados. I met with Olivia and Josh at their home, fur babies everywhere. There was an instant connection. I mean, if you’re flying someone from the Caribbean all the way to France, we HAD to vibe. There was no choice. Fast forward a few months and we were there. In FRANCE. WHAT. Olivia is a true wanderer. Josh followed and his love for travel grew with each new place they discovered together. In a small town in the South of France, these two and forty something of their closest friends and family shaped unforgettable memories in yet another beautiful place.

They married at a beautiful Chateau, tucked away among the Sunflower fields (unfortunately it was harvest season so they were all dried), Soya bean fields and never ending rolling hills. The scenery was unreal and breath taking everywhere you turned. Their ceremony was filled with so many personal touches, including a rum mixing, knot tying, surprise cameo by the chateau’s ginger cat. Everything about the day was so THEM.

After the ceremony we jumped in the owner’s Land Rover Defender (AKA my dream car) and drove up the hill to catch the sunset in the fields of gold. My dreams came true and it was the most beautiful sunset ever. Their intimate dinner was candle lit, topped off with a rocking party in the barn that went on way past my bedtime. Despite getting home after 4 am and freezing my ass off, it was truly an absolutely unforgettable, epic day!
